Fleet Space Unveils New Global Headquarters & Space Tech Hyper Factory at Catalyst Park, Adelaide Airport

Adelaide Airport has been announced as the new home of Australia’s leading space exploration company, Fleet Space Technologies, which has commenced construction of its global headquarters and hyper factory for next-gen space and climate technologies
The state-of-the-art facility will be developed by Adelaide Airport Limited, in conjunction with head contractor FDC and will enable Fleet Space to accelerate the production of its pioneering space technologies and scale its end-to-end exploration platform, powered by space and AI, ExoSphere.
The new global headquarters – ‘GHQ’ – will feature advanced manufacturing and data centre technologies, enabling production capacity for thousands of Fleet Space’s patented smart sensors and hundreds of satellites annually, with room to create hundreds of new jobs in South Australia.
Adelaide Airport Managing Director, Brenton Cox, said the new 5,000 sqm-plus facility will enable Fleet Space to accelerate the vertical integration of its business with supply chain, design, manufacturing, operations, engineering and R&D unified within a purpose-built, high-tech facility.
“Fleet Space Technologies’ decision to establish their global headquarters at Adelaide Airport is a testament to our ability to support cutting-edge industries,” said Adelaide Airport Managing Director, Brenton Cox.
“As the developer of this advanced facility, we’re excited to support a pioneering South Australian company at the forefront of space exploration technologies. This project underscores Adelaide Airport’s commitment to driving innovation and growth with our business partners.
With Catalyst Park continuing to expand its technology focus, Fleet Space is precisely the forward-thinking, dynamic business that can take advantage of the unique opportunities Adelaide Airport has to offer.”
Fleet Space Co-Founder & CEO, Flavia Tata Nardini, said today’s announcement marked a significant leap into the future for Fleet Space and Australian innovation, as it continued its mission to build revolutionary frontier technologies that address the dual challenges of climate change and space exploration, from the heart of South Australia.
“What began as a bold vision ten years ago when we founded Fleet Space has grown into a global force transforming the future of exploration on Earth and beyond,” she said.
“The tremendous evolution of Australia’s innovation ecosystem charts a clear path for Australia’s ascendancy in space, climate technologies, and artificial intelligence. With our new GHQ at Adelaide Airport, we’re strategically positioned to continue our exponential growth and development of cutting-edge technologies, paving the way for a more sustainable future on Earth, while furthering humanity’s exploration of new worlds.”
With Fleet Space Technologies now joining the Catalyst Park community, Adelaide Airport continues to drive investment, economic growth, and job creation in South Australia.
Mr Cox said Fleet Space will be part of a growing ecosystem of high-calibre tenants, including Australian Clinical Labs, Leidos, Boart Longyear, Australia Post and Bunzl, reinforcing Catalyst Park as a thriving hub for industry leaders.
“Our ongoing investment in Catalyst Park is shaping Adelaide Airport into a premier business hub that supports industry leaders in their growth and innovation journey,” Mr Cox said.
“We invite forward-thinking enterprises to explore the exciting opportunities available within Catalyst Park and establish themselves in a location built for the future.”
