Completed in 2023, the new FedEx Adelaide South Australian Gateway at Airport Junction marks a major investment in South Australia’s freight and logistics capacity. Spanning 64,000sqm, the state-of-the-art facility features advanced sorting and storage systems capable of processing up to 10,000 packages per hour—quadrupling previous capabilities and strengthening Adelaide’s position as a key national logistics hub.

Strategically located at Adelaide Airport’s Airport Junction precinct, the development supports growing regional and international air freight demand, particularly from South Australian exporters and SMEs. Designed with sustainability at its core, the facility incorporates a 4,500sqm skylight, full LED lighting, and rainwater harvesting to reduce energy use and environmental impact, aligning with FedEx’s global carbon-neutral goals.
